1947 Dodge Rod Project

Here is the latest addition to the Mutant Motorworx garage. A 1947 Dodge with suicide doors. The project will entail a complete removal of the interior and stripping the paint. A new interior and engine will be added. We have a 440 Magnum engine waiting to be dropped into the car. New wheels and suspension will be added and this will prove to be a very fast car. Stay tuned to see how the project comes.

New Project Truck

Mutant Motorworx just took in a new project. The owner of this truck (1986 Chevrolet Custom) has a tired Chevy 305 Small Block. He desires more power and torque and with the budget we have been afforded this is our plan.

Replace the intake for a dual plane Edelbrock intake.
Replace the Carburetor with an Edelbrock 650 CFM.
Adding an Edelbrock Thumpa cam for that old school sound and low end power.
Tune up with new plugs and wires and replace the valve cover gaskets.

We are hoping for about 30-40 horsepower out of these simple mods, but an easily noticeable gain in power.

Corvette hiatus. Different Engine Swap

While the Corvette has been near completion Mutant Motorworx has had to take a hiatus on Bobbas Vette due to our clientele.

Our latest client has a 2006 Hyundai Tuscon. They were quoted over $5000 to fix the car. We were able to purchase an engine with half the miles on it and replace it for $2500. Check out the photos below.

This swap was pretty simple. Using the old electronics and old transmission we were able to give the client a reasonable solution.

Now, as for Bobas Vette, we simply need to cut a hole in the hood and paint the car.

We will be putting up plans for our paint booth that we are building and for an engine test stand we are building as well. Stay in touch.
